  Today the House International Relations Committee (HIRC) held a hearing titled, “The U.S.-India ‘Global Partnership’: How Significant for American Interests?” USINPAC successfully urged Congressman Eni Faleomavaega (D-AS), the Ranking Member of the influential Subcommittee on Asia and Pacific, and founder and Co-Chair of the Congressional Task Force on US-India Investment and Trade Relations, to include a pro-India witness on the hearing. The witness selected was Dr. Ashley J. Tellis, a Senior Associate with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. This is the second major victory for USINPAC in two weeks.
