US India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) is a national, bipartisan political action committee of the Indian American community. It represents the community’s concerns on a broad range of issues. USINPAC provides a strong, clear and principled voice for the Indian American community in our nation’s capital. It works with numbers of Congress of both parties, as well as the administration, to ensure that the community’s concerns are addressed. There are various levels of memberships at USINPAC. USINPAC has a unique and supportive LC and AC member community, whose members are able to access continuous benefits of various USINPAC programs. Our members represent a wide ranging set of industries, including software and information technologies, biotech, financial services, lawyers, doctors and other professionals. The membership dues are annual. Leadership Committee
The Leadership Committee (LC) gives advice and direction to USINPAC. It consists of individuals who have contributed at least $5,000 per year. The benefits of membership include:
Automatic qualification for exclusive invitations to ‘members only’ events such as,
- Breakfast on the Hill
- Power Behind the Power Luncheons
- Capitol Hill Days
- Privileged Events for LC members
- Open Events
The membership tenure is one year, and is subject to renewal if the annual contributions continue to be met. LC members are invited to join USINPAC in India for an annual conference. It will be held in every January in New Delhi and will include meetings with prominent members of India ’s political, business, and cultural community. LC members are also invited to various meetings with business leaders in Mumbai. LC members can attend all Small Business Forum dinners, a series of key-note programming with the Small Business Administration. LC members can attend all USINPAC meetings with Members of US Senate, house and top Cabinet Secretaries scheduled for 2006.
Allocation Committee
The Allocation Committee decides how funds raised by USINPAC are distributed. This Committee performs the most important function at USINPAC. The criteria for funds allocation depend upon, but are not limited to, (i) candidates' positions and performance on issues important to the Indian American community, (ii) extent of influence that USINPAC can wield through allocation of funds in a given election campaign, and (iii) interests expressed by the contributors. Only individuals who have contributed at least $10,000 per year for USINPAC can join the Allocation Committee. The benefits of membership include:

AC members receive unlimited access to the USINPAC events, including the Small Business Forum Dinner Series, face-to –face meetings with prominent Senators and Congressmen and participate in business delegation and annual conference in India. AC members also get assistance from USINPAC’s Washington, DC staff in scheduling meetings with Congressional and Federal Agency meetings. AC Members are eligible for USINAPC assistance in scheduling two private meetings per year with Congressional or Government Agency offices. In order to maximize these meetings, USINPAC’s professional staff will assist in determining which congressional or Agency offices are best to address the issue and requirements and then assist in scheduling the appropriate meeting on best effort basis. Also, USINPAC staff will accompany the member to the meetings in order to ensure that time is maximized with the Congressional or Agency offices.
Corporate membership
Corporations can also participate and benefit from the same privileges available to Individual USINPAC members. The corporate contribution and benefits structure can be tailored for each corporation and begins at $15,000 per year.
