USINPAC Hosts Dinner with Trump Transition Team Officials

The United States India Political Action Committee, during a Dec. 7 dinner it hosted in Washington, D.C., for members of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, proposed to the officials a number of Indian Americans who would be good additions to the administration.

The dinner, part of an ongoing series of interactions the USINPAC has initiated with the Trump transition team, was attended by a large group of Indian Americans interested in serving in the president-elect’s administration.

The PAC said it is actively screening resumes from Indian Americans eager to participate with the incoming administration.

“We will continue to work closely with the new administration to provide them the best and brightest from our community,” USINPAC chairman Sanjay Puri said at the event.

Trump has already named South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and health policy consultant Seema Verma as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations and head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, respectively.

Additionally, Trump has vetted real estate businessman Sandeep Mathrani and Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii as possible additions to his administration.

Indian Americans looking to work with the incoming administration should send their resumes to trumpadmin@usinpac.com, the PAC said.
