The U.S.-India Political Action Committee (USINPAC) is a bipartisan, nonprofit political organization representing the interests of more than 4 million Indian-Americans.
USINPAC leverages the collective power of the community to bring about outcomes that matter at federal, state and local levels of government, and provides support to candidates and lawmakers who share the community’s concerns.
Founded in 2002, USINPAC has a successful track record of supporting and opposing legislation independently, as well as working with issue-based coalitions. USINPAC proudly serves as a resource for Congress, the White House and for Indian-Americans in the USA and abroad.
Our mission is to represent the interests of the Indian-American community at the federal, state and local levels of government by supporting and opposing legislation independently as well in partnership with issue-based coalitions. We provide support to candidates and lawmakers who share our concerns. Issues that are important to the Indian-American community include:
- U.S.-India relations for stronger defense, trade and business ties
- Entrepreneurship and business advocacy for small and medium-sized businesses
- Immigration legislation that promotes fairness
- Financial and political support of Indian-American candidates for public office
- Anti-Hate crime measures that ensure protection for all in the community
- Equal opportunity and advocacy for appointments of Indian-Americans in the Executive and Judicial branches of Government
- Civil Rights advocacy that ensure equal protection under the law
