Andrew Yang

Andrew Yang is an entrepreneur whose parents are immigrants from Taiwan. He studied economics and political science at Brown and went to law school at Columbia. He founded Venture for America, an organization that helps entrepreneurs create jobs.

Yang was featured in Rolling Stone for his bold proposal to provide a “Freedom Dividend” of $1,000 a month to every adult in America because he says the automation revolution is coming. Silicon Valley is in a race to automate, Yang says, and he wants to create a universal basic income to help Americans from coast to coast.
