Bio
Anu Natarajan was elected as a council member to the Freemont City Council in December 2008 and has been on the council ever since. She was elected to the Freemont Planning Commission in December 2004. She has lived in Freemont for 14 years. She studied at the University of Washington and earned a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Masters in Urban Design and Planning. As a professional, she has worked as an architect, public agency planner, and urban planning consultant.
Anu focuses on community-based planning that drives towards well-designed communities that in turn enhance economic growth. She has worked with several community organizations and her interests include reading, meeting people, traveling, and architecture.
