Bio
Kesha Ram belongs to the Vermont House of Representatives from the Chittenden-3-4 district and is a Democrat. This district includes the Burlington neighborhoods of Old North End, Hill Station, and the University District.
She is also the youngest member in the Vermont House of Representatives.
Kesha studied in the Santa Monica High School, Santa Monica, California. She earned degrees in Natural Resource Planning and Political Science and received a Truman Scholarship.
Before joining the legislature, Kesha served as the 2007-2008 President of the UVM Student Government Association. She was part of the Burlington Mayor’s Environment and Energy Coordinating Committee and focused on the Burlington Climate Action Plan. She also taught pre-school at Burlington Children’s Space.
